What I do
Quite surprisingly, not just to others but even to himself, Ming was a finance journalist in his previous job. It was when he was asked to write a piece on Hedging the Renminbi that he realised it was time to move on and return to his first love: design.
He crammed in a masters in Interactive Multimedia, moved to MSN to work with James and from there he made the giant leap forward into Thin Martian.
He’s been here since 2003 and still doesn’t own a black polo neck sweater, rimless Scandinavian glasses or a Bang and Olufsen telephone. To date, he has yet to use the words “blue sky thinking” and “agile”.
Earthly delights: noodles
Space oddities: reality TV – who actually wants to be Paris Hilton’s best friend?
