Andrew Walker

Andrew was devised and built by NASA in 1971 as a giant robot to defend the earth against alien invasions. In 1973 Godzilla took NASA to court for copyright infringement and after a long legal battle the US Miltary was forced to shrink Andrew back down to normal size and disable many of his special powers. Andrew was believed to have been destroyed, but in a shocking turn of events his disassembled body was seized by UN Weapons Inspectors in an Iraqi research facility where, it was claimed by US Secretary of State Colin Powell, Saddam Hussein had been attempting to re-activate Andrew. Under intense media scrutiny, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld eventually admitted selling Andrew to Saddam back in the early 80s along with weapons-grade anthrax and half a kilo of enriched plutonium. After a massive charity gig organised by Bob Geldof, Andrew was re-activated and allowed to move to London where he met James and Brad at a top secret weapons lab buried deep under Caledonian Road Tube Station. Despite having many of his special abilities removed, he can still fire lasers out of his eyes but he doesn't do it because "it really upsets people".
