Messenger Playground is a redesign of the Messenger Central website, which showcases content that you can download, play or chat with on Windows Live Messenger. The redesign was to make the site more accessible to a wider audience, as the previous site was built using flash.

We stripped out the flash galleries and replaced them within an html/CSS framework. For each piece of content we gave the user the chance to rate the content and share it with their friends on various social networks. We also added a cool jQuery carousel featuring the top games and downloads, plus we added a fun customisable option for you to choose your own background for the site!

To complete the design we gave the site a brand new identity to reflect its new, fresh and playful nature.
