"Stop smoking, start living, help quitting and support giving up".

The NHS, together with MSN, needed several "daily diversions" online for people trying really hard to quit smoking. With a few ex-smokers amongst us we could relate to the hardships; so we knew straightaway our games had to be challenging and engaging.

We had to be sensitive to the audience that we were targeting and quickly realised the importance of not designing games with smoking or stopping smoking as part of it’s mechanic or inherent in its messaging. There’s nothing like “Just say no” stamped over the messaging to put you off.

With this in mind we created 4 challenging flash games, completely different from each other, with a kudos-brimming high-score board for each one: Hammer Throw, Pastures New, Conundrum and Copycat.
